Kim Piagentini began her dance training at an early age in New Jersey, where she regularly advanced her skills in New York City. She has had extensive training in many dance styles, including Pointe, Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballroom.

Beginning high school, Kim was named captain of her varsity cheerleading squad, competing nationally all 4 years. In 1998, Kim was named choreographer of Fairfield University’s Dance Team, Degrees of Motion. She choreographed and instructed weekly new routines. Kim has performed for Fairfield Stag’s basketball and football at Fairfield University’s campus, Webster Bank Arena in CT and Madison Square Garden in NYC.

After graduating with a major in elementary education, Kim spent her summers teaching dance camps in Westport, CT. She began her teaching career at The Maywood Dance Center in NJ, teaching tap, ballet and jazz. Kim moved to Guilford in 2003 and began her career as a 3rd grade teacher in Killingworth Elementary School.

Kim is raising three children in the Guilford community, all of whom love dancing at Limelite. She adores children and teaching them the love of dance. Kim is excited for the opportunity to teach your children to love dance as much as she does!
